Our Mission

We are voting citizens of Seminole County and represent an important age bracket that is quickly gaining strength.

On November 7, 2006, the young voters of America (age 18 -29) let the rest of the country know that we're here by destroying previous young voter turnout records. We broke the 1982 turnout record by 2 percentage points (About 2 million votes) and young voters voted 2-1 for a change and had a huge impact in electing a massive change in our government.

With over 65 million voters in our age bracket (enough to create a majority in a presidential election), we are a group that demands to be heard.

Eco Students consists of honors students enrolled at Seminole Community College that aspire to be future environmentalists and politicians. We are reaching out as a united voice to our local politicians and mayors through the use of government, public relations, and grass root efforts to educate our local city councils that signing on to the U.S. Mayors Climate Protection Agreement is the right action for our county’s future and prosperity.

Remember, it starts on the local level.
