Eco Students continues to push for reforms to local emissions policies by praising the economic and health benefits of “green” practices to the top dogs at Seminole County. The next stop on the Eco Students tour is an invited presentation at the Seminole County directors’ meeting which will be held next Friday morning, June 15, at 8:30 a.m.

The Eco Students have landed on the agendas of the upcoming Oviedo City Council and Lake Mary City Commission meetings. The Oviedo City Council meeting will be open to the public and held at the Oviedo City Hall (400 Alexandria Blvd, Oviedo, FL 32765), Monday, June 4, at 6:30 p.m. Oviedo City Council meetings are televised live on Cable Channel 9 (Government). The Lake Mary City Commission meeting will also be open to the public and held at the Lake Mary City Hall (100 N. Country Club Road, Lake Mary, FL 32795), Thursday, June 7, at 7:00 p.m.

The Eco Students will continue its tour of local public presentations with an invited appearance at the monthly Seminole County DEC meeting. In addition to reaching out to official government meetings the Eco Students are presenting to other organizations that may also help push their mission of educating Seminole County elected officials about the US Mayors Climate Protection Agreement.
